You Have Held It Together Long Enough.
You are competent, capable, and respected for what you do. You have held responsibility, carried vision, and navigated different worlds with skill.
You have spent years adapting to others, shaping yourself to fit, and are ready to return home to you.
You sense a gap between the person you are and the work you are putting out into the world. You feel a rising within you, but you don’t yet have the space or permission to let it move.
There is a part of you that is not polite, not contained, and not convenient. The part that knows what it wants, feels what it feels, and refuses to stay quiet any longer.
You are not looking for more information. You do not need another strategy, another framework, or another notebook full of ideas.
You are ready for more aliveness.
This is not a retreat where you simply learn techniques. It is a return to your inner knowing. Through conscious dance, breathwork, creative expression, and the elemental wisdom of the land, you will awaken your body’s intelligence and your soul’s voice. This is the space to stop adapting. To come home to yourself. Fully, unapologetically, at last.

This is for the visionary, the creative, the healer who feels a rising within them, but doesn’t yet have the space or permission to let it move.
You're not looking for more information. You're ready for more aliveness.
You’ve been competent, capable, and respected for what you do. You’ve held responsibility and carried vision. But you sense a gap between the person you are and the work you’re putting out into the world.
This is especially for those who have spent years holding space for others, adapting to meet them, and are ready to return to come home to themselves. Fully, unapologetically, at last.
Each day is a deep dive into an elemental theme, forming a continuous spiral of return to your most essential self.

Day 1: Grounding (Earth)
Come home to your body, your breath, your ground.
The first day is about arriving fully. Through movement that connects you to the earth, you’ll reclaim your sense of safety, rootedness, and embodied presence. You’ll slow down enough to truly hear what your body is whispering.

Day 2: Feeling (Water & Fire)
Move with the emotional waters, tend the inner fire.
The second day invites you into the deeper currents of the heart. You’ll explore the emotions held in your body, not as stories to analyze, but as energy that can be moved, expressed, and transformed. This is where sensitivity becomes strength.

Day 3: Rising (Air & Ether)
Express the wild voice, let the full spectrum be seen.
The final day is about letting your authentic expression move out into the world. You’ll give shape and sound to your longings, visions, and truth. This is where you liberate your voice, your joy, and your creative fire.

A felt sense of your own ground, even under pressure.
The freedom to express yourself more fully, without apology or performance.
A deeper trust in your emotional landscape and intuitive wisdom.
A renewed connection to your creative fire and the joy of making work that is truly yours.

The Asha Centre, nestled in Gloucestershire's lush countryside is a sanctuary for the senses. This interfaith retreat space is rich in beauty and sacred energy, offering Ancient Fire Circle, Druid Grove and Labyrinth, a Thai-style meditation temple, angelic sculptures and even a Hobbit house. A serene stream flows through Gandalf's Secret Garden, watched over by Quan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion. And to top it all, if you're into cold water bathing, there is the ancient natural spring, built by the Romans, of St Anthony's Well a 10 minute walk away, which we may visit as part of our water ritual.
We’ll gather in the magnificent Peace Pavilion, with its underfloor heating and open-air potential. There will be time for you to rest, reset and recalibrate in this natural haven of the beautiful Forest of Dean. This land is truly a living prayer, and hosting you here, holding space for transformation and connection is both a joy and deep honour.

Helene Su is the creator of Niio Dance, a somatic movement approach that reconnects the body with expression, creativity, and voice.
She works with people who are already self-aware, but sense there is more of them that hasn’t yet been fully expressed.
Through movement, breath, and attention, her work supports a return to the body as a place of truth, where emotion, instinct, and creative energy can move more freely.
Helene has presented at the International Somatic Movement Education & Therapy Association conference, and brings over 20 years of experience in movement and body–mind practice.
Born in the UK with Chinese heritage, her work naturally weaves different perspectives into a grounded, embodied approach that allows people to reconnect with their own inner authority.
This is your invitation to step out of the noise, into the wild stillness of your body, and rise into the full expression of who you are. If something in you recognises this — consider this your permission.

A: No. This retreat welcomes beginners and experienced movers alike. We all have a body that needs to move. And sometimes having formal dance training means that you actually need to become a beginner again, to explore your movement and listen to your body in new ways.
What you will most likely have is experience of inner work, all things personal development and the curiosity to deep dive into your life journey. We move because life is movement, life is a dance of possibility, and the main prerequistes are openness and a willingness to explore whatever arises for you in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
My intention is to hold a space that is safe, nurturing, empowering and inspirational.
A: Come to be comfortable and feel unrestricted for your movement, with layers, and to be prepared for outdoor activities (nb swimwear for St Anthony's natural spring well).
